be a great place to gather up information. I used Baja Nomads to hunt down some information on our trip to Bahia Concepcion and I also discovered a place that we’d love to check out someday, but due to some certain circumstances we couldn’t do it on this trip. We were hoping to visit Bahia-Asuncion, but the people that live there and manage some of the places you can use were not going to be there due to a Birthday Party. Cool thing was is that they invited us to attend this party in which we would be people that we never met. It was going to be a Shari’s B-day celebration and other Nomad’s were going to be there and Whale Watching was on the agenda, so hey, sounds like a great time, lots of fun, and a new adventure. So the morning we left Bahia Concepcion we headed of to Party Central, Guerrero Negro!
It felt funny sitting in the restaurant waiting for people you have never met to show up, but this was not the first time that we’ve hooked up with people we met on-line, so we just hung out until everyone showed up. When they did it was fun putting faces to the names and making some great new friends. It was a very nice dinner and all of us “On-line Computer chatting Forum using Nerds” had a great time. We were all pretty excited about the whale watching that was going to happen the next day and up to this point the only trip I had ever paid to go on was out of New Port Beach in the States—and didn’t see any whales.
Sadly though Shari woke up sick and we soon realized that our Whale watching party shrunk a bit, but we were all still game and off we headed to Ojo Libre. After getting our Official gear and manning the boats we were off and soon all we could see is the spouts of whales, splashes from the breaches, and Spy Hopping. So rather that blab about it I’ll just share some pictures below and we look forward to hooking up with more Nomads and someday making a trip out to Bahia-Asuncion.

It was a great time and we look forward to Shari’s Bday and hopefully another whale watch trip,,,but this time with Bday Girl!
