Hello Tim,
Sorry if you never received a reply to this posting. When I got the original comment I sent it via the email that was supplied, so I'm not sure if you ever got it. Anyway,,,it's been quiet with the concept of building a Class11 bug,,,until recently. Some excitement brewed up and to make a long story short,,,We're starting work on it tomorrow. We are gunning for the Baja 500 2013. So,,,if you're still interested, or would like some more information I'd be more than happy as to share it with you. Here is the new site we are working on
www.teamh12one.com.
Thanks and God Bless

Howdy Uncle Tom,
Uncle Bill told me a story of how he died, but later did not recall the event.
We had a bit of a set back on the car as the new motor we built went south on us,,,it had some shotty work done on the Short Block. We just recently got her back from a MOPAR only shop and they did a fantastic job on it. They pride themselves on Long Lasting Restorations of Mopar's. I also just put Dual Exhaust on her,,,Magna Flow Mufflers,,,Hughes Racing Cam,,,,She's a Sleeper!
Nice to hear from you and I hope you are well.

Oh brother,
I have walked in your shoes. Thanks for sharing your beautiful day. It makes me think of walking Yvette down that aisle. I couldn't see through the tears. I did not want to give her up...especially to that Brian. If only I had known what he was planning when they were classmates in pre-school!
I felt so alone when they left the reception, thinking that my life is over, poor pathetic me! But 5 years later, I have the most beautiful baby girl Ellie Marie (2 years) and grandson Micah (8 months). I am blessed beyond my greatest expectations!
Yvette is an awesome mom and Brian an awesome dad. So my brother, enjoy the occasional tear of losing your beautiful girl while understanding that our glorious Father has an awesome future for you and Debbie as grandparents.
Much love,
Ernie Blanco

You can definitely see your enthusiasm in the paintings you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren't afraid to mention how they believe. At all times follow your heart.

Hi Diane,
Wow,,,sorry for the late reply and posting of your comments. This is an interesting deal and sense we started helping with this project we've actually built a small backyard system as well, and breeding tanks. The best thing to do is to Google Aquaponics and check out Vids on Youtube. If you really want to dig into this you could try Morning Star Fisherman I'm looking into attending one of their training sessions myself. Good Luck and let us know when you get started.

Wow! Was looking into doing hydroponics with our small non-profit and this sounds terrific. Do you know where I can get a set of plans? How about the weather? Our temps can get pretty cold.

Hola!

Just a quick introduction: My wife and I are missionaries with Cadence International (formerly OCSC) WAAAAAAYYYY up in the farthest snowy reaches of New York State, at Ft. Drum. We are here working to reach the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Light Infantry Division. Our daughter Lynnea, is 23 and a missionary on staff with YWAM (Perth, Australia) and right now is leading a team down in Mexico City. Our son Allan, is 21 and currently here with us waiting on the Lord for his next direction.

It's actually our son's interest that brought me to your blog. Allan has a dream to work on/design/build rally cars, and he wants to use that interest for the Lord. I really want to encourage him in this. We've been talking about buying a Bug and turning it into a class 11 rally car. The thing is, I'm kind of flying blind. My only experience with VWs was a 78 diesel Rabbit that I rebuilt years ago: Totally different from a 1600cc Beetle!

I was doing a little impromptu research on Class 11s when I stumbled across your post on the "Class 11 Coalition" website. When I read about your vision, I just about jumped out of my chair! We will be following you with intense interest in the coming months and praying for you daily. I'm especially excited by your vision to use the car to bring the good news of Jesus to Contingency Row. Outstanding! How amazing and exciting it is to have close brothers and sisters - that we haven't even met yet - who are fellow laborers!

Further, the way you've just jumped into this gives me courage to think that this vision might not be quite as crazy as some might think. Ha!

It will be exciting to see how the Lord leads in this. I don't want to get ahead of Him, but at some point it might be worth the trip to get down to see you guys. Off the top of my head, I am kind of wondering if it would be better stewardship to somehow join, or assist, or invest, or whatever in what you guys are already doing, rather than start something clear up here on our own. (Of course it's too soon to jump in with both feet.) I hope you give us a chance to get to know you guys a bit.

Well, I've got a Bible Study to prepare. We've got a bunch of soldiers arriving later this afternoon to spend the weekend here at the house. (You can imagine the drunken orgy in the Barracks over New Years. I'd want out of there too!) Above all, we want to see the 10th Mountain come to Christ.

Please keep that blog updated! We want to pray effectivly.

In Christ,
Tim Bettger

Actually Ron, the hope chest looks like it did then,,,I used a very good oil to finish it off with way back when. I guess someday it would be good to sand her down and give'r a fresh coat. It sits in our guest bathroom and Deb has some pics on it. We love when people ask "Where'd you get that hope chest..." Then we get to tell the story.
Thanks for Reading!
