I like this time of year, mostly because Football has started and now Hockey season is well on the way. The winds tend to blow more, it get a little dry, and you start to feel a chill in the air. It’s hard to go anywhere without Seasonal shopping hitting you in all directions (and it only gets worse) and we all start to make plans for Thanksgiving. So yea, many reasons as to why I like this time of year. The pic below is opening night of the LA Kings and sad to say that they lost to the Sharks, but the ribs were very good. But,,,last night Neil worked the siren over a few times as the Kings killed the Ducks 6-3. Yea, we love Hockey, and the Kings,,,,and Ribs, ,,,,with potatos,,,,,,,,Salad,,,,,,,and then run for Ice Cream between 2nd and 3rd Period.
As you see I’ve changed the name of the Blog to give it more of a “family feel” and thanks for the tip Mary! When we just got married (many moons ago) we lived in a small one bedroom apartment on the property of Lake Hills Comm. Church, and in those days there was nothing around. No one could find us when they came to visit, so we called our little place “Hollenbeck’s Hideaway” and the sign that hung above our fence now hangs in our house. We are a bit easier to find even though we are here in Mexico and everyone knows that Mi Casa es Su Casa! So don’t take to long in planing a trip to come on down and enjoy some Ribs, tacos, fish tacos…. yea,, Just come on down.
