I’ve got about 10 minutes to sit here and Blog away. We have some friends pulling into town by way of “Carnival Cruise” and we’re going to play tourer guides today. Actually this is a family from our home church in Canyon Lake and Bruce who is with this group was actually one of Nicki’s teachers when she was in grade school. We enjoy this time as we kind of get to show off our humble town and we hope to give a different view of life in Ensenada.

Life has been crazy, fun, frustrating, busy, and summer always has all of this for us and much more. Trying to stay up on Summer is often like trying to jump onto a moving train and sometimes you feel as if that’s all you do all summer long—chase the Train! Then, when you do catch it you sometimes have that “now what” feeling crumbling around in your belly but you soon learn to take things as they come and to trust and rely on the Lord,,,,then when you do that a whole new perspective on summer opens up before you.

God blesses us with groups from all over the US and this year Canada as well and as they come and go I’ve explained to the interns that you do need to switch them ON and OFF as they come and go. Sounds cold but if you don’t you can find your self wishing each group was just as Fun and Cool as the first group—but that’s because you have not taken the time to learn what is fun and special about the new group. By the end of summer you should see a breaker panel with a switch for each group on the OFF position and then all at once you reach over and switch them all to ON and let the grand memories of everyone come at you all at once.

So yea, right now it’s hard at times to find time to Blog, sometimes I’m just to tired, and sometimes there’s the “OK, how do I even begin to catch you up on all that has gone on over the last few weeks”…Time will tell, but for now the train is a coming by and we need to go see if we can run up and catch it.
