We just got finished doing the Pamper Pole, or also known as the leap of faith. We (the guys I’ve been working with) climbed a pole that sits about 40 feet up and you have to get on to and stand on a platform that is about 8″x8″. Then you (when you catch your breath) leap to a trapeze bar that is suspended about 8-10 feet out. It was crazy insane stuff.
So it was a slow day of work and the Play set is completed and it looks awesome. The guys from North Carolina opened up and took Deb and I in and treated us just like one of crew, so it was indeed a blessing to work with them, and we’re going to miss them as well.
Tonight we catch a bus at 12:00 midnight and head for the coast with two others and we’ll par-take in some extreme RnR. Everyone has been getting a kick at how we were to come here and rest, but they say “all you do is work!” But, yes, there is rest in working as well! So for the next few days we’ll be resting as in sitting down and reading, playing dominoes, and getting to know new friends a bit better. PICTURES WILL BE POSTED next week of our time at the coast and the play set. WOW, it will soon be time to pack our bags and head home—unreal!
